Yes. All our products are made from 100% solid wood. They are not veneered with MDF or particle board.
This is a fundamental principle of our brand.
Are your products really 100% solid wood?
Why do you use solid wood? Why don't you choose MDF or veneer?
Solid wood is durable, repairable, renewable, and becomes more beautiful with age, possessing antique value. Most importantly, it is not harmful to health or the environment.
Wood veneers applied to MDF or particleboard materials have a short lifespan and do not behave like natural materials. They are not renewable. Their repairability is very limited.
Do you offer personalized service?
Wood Mood Works offers bespoke production, but each design is shaped with aesthetic integrity, long-term use, and the natural beauty of solid wood in mind.
Thanks to our experience, knowledge, and real-world field applications, we offer our customers not just a product, but also more accurate measurements, the right type of wood, the right proportions, and the right usage scenario.
During the design process, we listen to your requirements, but we filter those requirements through the lens of what we've learned over the years; we create solutions that will look good, function correctly, and appreciate in value over time.
Our goal is to create a Wood Mood Works product that is not only appreciated today, but also remains relevant for years to come.
How does your design process work?
At Wood Mood Works, the design process begins with accurately understanding the need.
Our current collection is built upon a design language and understanding of proportions developed over the years. These designs can be adapted in terms of combination, size, and color to suit the space and usage habits.
If the demand exceeds the limits of existing models, a new, custom design is developed for the customer. During this process, proportion, usability, and material selection are professionally evaluated.
Necessary guidance is clearly shared; incorrect solutions are not suggested. The entire process is carried out with aesthetic integrity and long-term use in mind.
Which type of tree are you working with?
At Wood Mood Works, wood selection is based on the design requirements and the long-term use of the product.
We work with beech, oak, ash, chestnut, and spruce. If a customer requests a different type of wood, we can also work with that wood after evaluating its technical suitability.
Do the products arrive assembled?
Most products are delivered assembled.
Large or custom-made products can be disassembled for safe transport and assembled on-site.
How should solid wood furniture be used and maintained?
Solid wood is a natural material that is alive and acquires character over time.
For daily use, chemical cleaners should be avoided; the surface should be wiped with a slightly damp cloth.
Extreme heat, intense sunlight, and sudden changes in humidity can negatively affect solid wood.
The ideal humidity level should be maintained in the environment where the product is located, and heavy objects should be lifted and placed without being dragged.
With proper use and simple maintenance, solid wood furniture will not wear out over the years; it will age, become more beautiful, and can be passed down from generation to generation.
Do the products need to be fixed to the wall?
Yes, for tall and narrow products that are at risk of tipping over, we recommend wall mounting.
However, at Wood Mood Works, we do not perform wall drilling except for wall units or project-based fixed systems.
Due to the risk of damaging the building's or apartment's electrical installations during the process of drilling through the wall, we believe it is more appropriate to have this work done with the approval of a qualified electrician.
Therefore, the issue of fastening is left to the user's discretion to ensure the most accurate and secure fastening.

What situations are covered and not covered by the warranty for solid wood?
Solid wood is a natural and living material. Therefore, warranty coverage is determined by clearly distinguishing between manufacturing and workmanship defects and the natural characteristics of the material.
Conditions Covered by the Warranty:
- Structural problems stemming from production or workmanship.
- The main body of the furniture has problems due to assembly errors or incorrect connection methods.
- Manufacturing defects in lid, drawer, and sliding systems.
- Defects in surface treatments (oil/paint) that occurred during the production phase.
- Technical assembly errors that occur during shipping or installation.
These issues are covered under warranty and will be resolved free of charge.
Situations Excluded from Warranty Coverage:
- The natural movement of solid wood due to changes in humidity and temperature.
- Small cracks or vascular openings may develop on the surface over time.
- Deformations caused by environmental conditions.
- User error (liquid contact, chemical contact, impact, overload, improper handling or misuse)
- Instability originating from the floor or walls.
These situations are considered within the scope of the natural behavior or usage conditions of solid wood.
In what environments is solid wood furniture suitable? What factors affect the home environment?
Solid wood furniture is ideal for residential use and for living spaces that require balanced humidity and temperature conditions.
Systems like underfloor heating, air conditioning, and fireplaces do not pose a problem for solid wood furniture as long as they are not in direct and prolonged contact with it.
In homes with children, solid wood is a healthier and longer-lasting option compared to veneer and MDF products.
With proper use and simple maintenance, solid wood furniture blends seamlessly into your living space and develops character over time.
The product wobbles on a flat surface. What should I do?
Wood Mood Works products have legs that are prepared on leveled workbenches during the production phase, ensuring there is no structural imbalance in the legs.
Level differences created during installation on floors (laminate, parquet, etc.) can cause the products to bounce or wobble.
This issue is not product-related; it stems from the natural tolerances of the ground and can be resolved by adjusting it with felt pads placed underfoot.
Who is doing the installation?
Deliveries and installations within Istanbul are handled by the Wood Mood Works team.
Deliveries outside of Istanbul are prepared without requiring installation; if necessary, guidance will be provided and installation will be carried out by our contracted teams.
All shipments are handled by our contracted logistics companies, which have experience in furniture transportation.
Does the product's appearance change over time?
Solid wood is a living material and can naturally change over time depending on the humidity and temperature conditions of its environment.
Deepening of color tones, the acquisition of character on the surface, and occasional hairline cracks are natural characteristics of solid wood.
These types of surface movements are not a manufacturing defect; they are part of the nature of solid wood.
With proper use and environmental conditions, these changes enhance the product's aesthetic value and story.
Can the product be repaired after all these years?
Yes. One of the biggest advantages of solid wood is that it's repairable.
Surface restoration, minor repairs, or adjustments are possible even years later.
Do you have any more affordable products?
"Affordable price" is a subjective concept that varies from person to person.
At Wood Mood Works, prices are determined based on the actual cost of the solid wood used, the craftsmanship, and the production time.
We do not choose to offer lower-priced alternatives by compromising on production quality, materials, or design discipline.
Our goal is not to produce the cheapest product, but the right product.
Why are solid wood furniture more expensive than MDF products?
Solid wood is much more expensive in terms of both raw materials and labor compared to products made of MDF or particleboard with wood veneer.
Solid wood products require long drying times, a low waste rate, hand craftsmanship, and traditional joining techniques.
In contrast, MDF products can be produced faster, at a lower cost, and in mass quantities.
The price difference stems from differences in material quality and long-term usability.
Does solid veneer have a real name?
No.
"Solid veneer" is not a technically accurate description.
Solid wood means the entire product is made from a single piece of natural wood.
Veneer is applied by pressing and gluing thin layers of wood onto an MDF or similar carrier surface.
In the market, the term "solid veneer" is often a misleading description used to create the impression that veneered products are more valuable.
At Wood Mood Works, products are either 100% solid wood or they aren't; no intermediate definition is used.
Where do the names of Wood Mood Works products come from? How do you determine these names?
At Wood Mood Works, each product is born not just as a form or function, but as a story.
Therefore, our names are not chosen randomly; they are inspired by the spirit of the design, its form, and even the experiences during the production process.
Sometimes a challenge encountered during the manufacturing process, sometimes a disagreement with a craftsman in the workshop, and sometimes the flow of production determines the name of a design that doesn't yet have a name.
Our inspiration mostly comes from old Turkish words, words whose meanings have been forgotten over time, emotions, and routines from everyday life.
A product's name reflects its character; it describes how it looks, how it feels, and how it will fit into the home.
For us, the name isn't just the finishing touch to the design; it's its identity.
When we place a product in its designated spot, we leave a small but lasting mark on the world, both with its name and its presence.
What is the most fundamental difference that sets Wood Mood Works apart from other furniture brands?
Wood Mood Works views furniture not as a consumer product, but as a source of long-term value.
All products are designed by us. They are made from 100% solid wood, handcrafted in our workshops; veneers, mass production, or temporary, more cost-effective solutions are not used.
For us, the difference lies not only in the materials, but also in our approach to design, our production discipline, and the transparent relationship we establish with our customers.
Wood Mood Works chooses quality production over rapid consumption.
It operates on the philosophy of "use-maintain-transfer".
